Shichahai Bar Street
Shichahai Bar Street is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
Introduction
Shichahai is the collective name for the last three of the “Six Lakes” in Beijing’s water system and is also an extraordinarily charming part of the city. Its 34-hectare water surface blends naturally into the urban blocks. Relying on the water body, there are also features such as weeping willows along the lakeshore and lotus flowers in the water, which have become distinctive natural landscapes of Shichahai. Since the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, this area has been bustling with merchants, dotted with ancient temples, and filled with numerous taverns. The rise of the Shichahai bar culture and economic zone has illuminated the most enchanting body of water in old Beijing, casting a glow over the eternal night by Yandai Xiejie (Silver Ingot Bridge). The ancient ripples and the fashionable glow of the bars set off the ever-charming Shichahai. Here, the silent blue waves cleanse the soul. Transportation
