The company has contracted 1,000 acres of barren mountain land at Huangdian in Dashankou Village, Chaotian Township, to build an ecological agricultural sightseeing and leisure base. Leveraging the mountain spring water from the base—known as “Golden Trout Ice Spring”—which flows year-round, never runs dry, and is famed for its purity, the company has established Guilin’s largest cold-water aquaculture base for premium global fish species, raising prized fish such as Siberian sturgeon, golden trout, and rainbow trout. The base also operates an ecological farm for lean-type pigs and indigenous black pigs, with an annual output of 10,000 lean pigs. It actively develops the cultivation of fruit tree seedlings and flowers, focusing on high-quality southern pears, loquats, bayberries, and ornamental trees. The waste from the livestock farms, including manure, is fermented through biogas projects and converted into bio-organic liquid fertilizer, which is directly used to nourish fruit trees and flowers. The company has also integrated the region’s pristine natural landscapes and unique industrial resources to create the Golden Trout Ice Spring Farm—a national model site for leisure fisheries that combines sightseeing, fruit picking, leisure holidays, fishing, and dining.
