The scenic area is located east of the ancient town of Daxu in Lingchuan County, 26 kilometers east of downtown Guilin, along the Li River and adjacent to the Li River docks.

The Ancient East Section of the Li River is hailed as a “model of domestic eco-tourism,” and is one of the key scenic spots of the Guilin-Li River designated by the State Council. It is also an environmental education base for youths in Guangxi and a filming location for CCTV exteriors.

The area is known for its secluded waterfalls, emerald pools, red maples, and interactive experiences, blending pristine ecology, geological wonders, and fresh air.
