Youjiang Revolutionary Memorial Hall

The former site of the Youjiang Workers' and Peasants' Democratic Government is located at No. 1 Nanhua Road, Pingma Town, Tiandong County, Guangxi. Originally built as Jingzheng Academy during the third year of the Guangxu reign in the Qing Dynasty (1877), it was converted into Jingzheng School after the Xinhai Revolution. It was a school established with donations raised by Chen Rujin from Zhejiang, who served as magistrate of Enlong County (changed to Tiandong County in 1934), and supported by various sectors of Pingma. The academy consists of a front, middle, and rear courtyard, each with its own independent structure. The site covers an area of 7,336.25 square meters, and the entire building has an antique charm. Featuring over 550 photos, precious revolutionary relics, as well as oil paintings, charts, and restored scenes, it vividly and vividly recreates the glorious journey of the Chinese Communist Party leading the people of Youjiang in their arduous and heroic revolutionary struggle and achieving victory, while also paying tribute to the remarkable achievements of older-generation proletarian revolutionaries such as Deng Xiaoping in leading the revolutionary struggle in the Youjiang region.
