Hechi Revolutionary Memorial Hall

Hechi Revolutionary Memorial Hall is located on Qianxiao Road in downtown Hechi. The museum covers a total construction area of 7,351 square meters, with a total investment of 11.5 million yuan. It is currently the largest, most fully equipped, and most content-rich comprehensive cultural and museum institution in downtown Hechi. The memorial hall has two permanent basic exhibitions open to the public: one is the “Red Monument – Exhibition on the History of the Revolutionary Struggles in Hechi,” and the other is the Hechi Municipal National Defense Education Exhibition Hall. In addition, there is also a temporary exhibition hall of nearly 300 square meters that is open to visitors and tourists, with regularly updated exhibition content. In October 2008, Hechi Revolutionary Memorial Hall was designated as a municipal-level patriotic education base and cultural relics protection unit by the Hechi Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People’s Government of Hechi City; in October 2010, it was further recognized as an autonomous region-level patriotic education base.

The basic exhibition of Hechi Revolutionary Memorial Hall, “Red Monument – Exhibition on the History of the Revolutionary Struggles in Hechi,” comprehensively reflects the glorious history of the arduous revolutionary struggles carried out by the people of Hechi under the leadership of the Party, through revolutionary relics, documents, and photographs. It celebrates and commemorates the great achievements of revolutionary predecessors such as Deng Xiaoping, Zhang Yunyi, Li Mingrui, and Wei Baqun, serving as a vivid, distinct, and visual representation of the local Party history of Hechi.
