At last year’s Taipei International Travel Fair, EVA Air set up a photo zone featuring the I SEE YOU ad scene where Jackie Chan served tea under a tree in Taitung, which was hugely popular with visitors. This year at the Taipei Travel Fair, EVA Air specially recreated the I SEE YOU Paris bookstore ad scene, allowing the public to take free photos with the Jackie Chan cutout. In addition, in collaboration with Pringo, anyone who purchased an EVA Holidays package from any travel agency at the fair, bought tickets online on-site, or participated in stage activities could have their photo taken with the Jackie Chan backdrop by a staff member and then immediately printed for free using the portable Pringo printer. Before entering the travel fair venue, visitors who took a photo with the I SEE YOU ad featuring Jackie Chan on the Taipei 101 building exterior and uploaded it to Facebook could also pick up a special gift at the EVA Air booth.

Recently, EVA Air has struck again, continuing the theme of the I SEE YOU ad: “Your vision can turn the world.” Partnering with Jackie Chan’s upcoming movie “The Crossing,” the airline spent six months turning scenes from the film into a nearly one-minute ad that also serves as a trailer. The new commercial conveys how perspectives on the world change with time and mood, and how individuals develop different mindsets and answers amid societal shifts. The ad will first be shown on EVA Air flights before airing on TV.
