Luocheng County is home to more than a dozen unique springs, including the "Tidal Spring," "Oil Fish Spring," "Shrimp Spring," and "Turtle Spring." Among them, the Tidal Spring has the highest tourism value. Situated at the foot of the mountain behind Mendou Village in Xiaochangan Town, the spring emerges from a crack, flowing out with clear, azure water. It surges three times daily. Each surge brings rolling airwaves and a thunderous roar, with the water shooting higher and higher, resembling a white dragon rising from the surface—truly a spectacular sight. The water volume also increases two to three times compared to normal, then gradually subsides after several minutes, returning to its usual state. According to county records, this phenomenon has occurred daily for a thousand years, making it a truly mysterious wonder.
