The ancient city ruins are located in Lisheng Jiuxian Tun, Sibu Town, about 20 kilometers southwest of the county seat. They were the site of the county government when Tianhe County was first established during the Tang Dynasty, making them the earliest discovered ancient county site within the county to date. There is a cave in the mountainside, divided into upper and lower levels. The lower level features a cliffside stone inscription poem from the Ming Dynasty's Jiajing era, inscribed by Ji Ti from Fujian. The poem reads: “Who wielded the divine axe with boundless might, / To cleave half the primal sky in twain? / Mountain birds sing sweet refrains all year long, / Stone dragons spew cold mist through endless day. / Cloud-rooted bodhi trees forever stand, / First blooms of Taiyi lotus grace the stone. / Enchanted by this frontier’s wondrous scene, / I carve these verses for spirits to make known.” This site has been designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.
