Hanle Rock At the foot of a mountain one kilometer north of Tianhe Street, there is a natural stone cave about 10 meters high, 100 meters wide, and roughly 1 kilometer deep. Inside the cave, there are seven interconnected chambers. The cave features numerous stalagmites and stone curtains, as well as a dazzling array of uniquely shaped rocks and peaks—some resembling a heavenly maiden scattering flowers, some like a celestial jade pool in the sky, some like a gemstone dragon lantern, and others like Zhu Bajie fetching his bride. Strolling through the cave feels like wandering through a fairy palace, offering a refreshing and enchanting experience that makes visitors reluctant to leave. In the fifth year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1825 AD), Lin Guangdi, the magistrate of Tianhe County, visited the cave and personally inscribed the three characters “Han Le Yan” (Hanle Rock) above the entrance, from which the cave derives its name.
