Misui Forest Resort is located in Xiaochangan Town, Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County, nestled along the cliffs of the Wuyang River’s Yayi section. The resort is surrounded by striking mountains and boasts uniquely picturesque riverside scenery, exuding poetic charm and an air of mystery that brings a refreshing, ethereal sense of tranquility.

The resort is named after the many misui trees found within the area. These trees, standing approximately 15 meters tall with lush foliage, each feature a concave tree hollow, all facing the same direction, making them highly scenic. October is the season when the misui fruits ripen, allowing visitors to not only admire the trees but also collect the fruits.

The resort has successively built facilities such as a visitor service center, farmhouse dining and accommodation area, conference rooms, docks, wooden pavilions, chess and card rooms, sepak takraw courts, swimming pools, parking lots, and walking paths. It is divided into zones including a free-range chicken farming area, a farmhouse wild vine grape winemaking area, a camping area, a guest accommodation area, a riverside sightseeing experience area featuring Mulao ethnic customs, a barbecue area, a fitness area, and a fishing area. Visitors can enjoy specialty barbecues, watch Mulao ethnic folk song and dance performances, and take part in activities such as sepak takraw, chess, swimming, bamboo rafting on the river, and fishing. The resort restaurant offers a rich selection of farmhouse dishes, including free-range chicken, free-range duck, river fish, and Mulao-style cured meats, ensuring that whether guests are sightseeing, being entertained, dining, or staying overnight, they are immersed in natural pastoral scenery.

Misui Forest Resort has been rated as a Four-Star Farmhouse Entertainment Site in the Autonomous Region and one of the Top Ten Rural Tourism Destinations in Hechi City, making it an ideal place for travel and vacation.

◆ Transportation Guide

Traveling eastward for 15 kilometers along the asphalt road from Dongmen Town, Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County, will bring you to Xiaochangan Town. The resort is just a short distance west of the town exit.

There is a Bus Route 6 that runs between Dongmen Town and Xiaochangan Town, with a ticket price of 4 yuan per person.
