Huaiji Reservoir

Huaiji Reservoir is located in Heli Township, Heshan City, about 20 kilometers from the city center, away from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The reservoir area covers approximately 1,000 acres, making it the largest reservoir in Heshan. It is embraced by green mountains on three sides, with about 6,000 acres of developable land nearby. The reservoir is long and winding, resembling a shimmering sea cucumber. The Hongshui River rushes past the reservoir, creating a spectacular view. Scattered small islands in the middle of the reservoir provide habitats for wild ducks, birds, and other small animals. Interestingly, two peninsulas extending from either side of the reservoir, covering an area of over 100 acres and facing each other across the water, are vividly called "Lover's Island" by locals. No matter the season, Huaiji Reservoir always presents a picturesque scene of clear blue waters and lush green mountains. It is truly a great destination for travel and leisure.
