Heshan Strange Stones Cultural Park

Heshan City Strange Stones Cultural Park is located in the old town center of Heshan City, with its main entrance on Renmin South Road. The park borders the Heshan City Government to the north, Renmin South Road to the west, and runs along the railway tracks to the east. It is a comprehensive garden park that integrates historical culture, tourism, sightseeing, and leisure entertainment.

Heshan City Strange Stones Cultural Park houses the Heshan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery, Heshan New Century Square, and Heshan Strange Stones Museum.

The Heshan Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery was built to commemorate the martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives for Heshan’s revolutionary and socialist construction endeavors during the Anti-Japanese War, the Liberation War, and the period of socialist construction. It serves as an important base for patriotic education and the inheritance of revolutionary traditions in Heshan City.

Heshan New Century Square is open to citizens and tourists free of charge, truly becoming a people's square park. It provides an elegant environment for fitness and leisure, plays an important role in meeting the growing cultural needs of the public, and promotes the spiritual civilization construction of Heshan City.

The Heshan Strange Stones Museum aims to provide a solid platform for the development of Heshan's strange stones culture, fully showcasing Heshan’s reputation as the "Birthplace of Modern Chinese Strange Stones Culture" and the "Hometown of Chinese Ornamental Stones." Currently, the museum has collected over 500 pieces of various strange stones from the Heshan region, encompassing 12 types of stones—primarily featuring Guangxi’s renowned stone, Heshan Colored Pottery Stone. This collection includes the five original most famous Heshan stones: Green Colored Pottery Stone, Yellow Glazed Stone, Gourd Stone, Mandarin Duck Stone, and Spiral Stone.

In recent years, with the gradual improvement of the park’s infrastructure, its roads have become well-connected and the scenery pleasant, making it a great destination for Heshan residents to exercise and relax, as well as for tourists to visit. It is considered the “Central Park” of Heshan City.
