Introduction

　   Located at the mouth of Longchuan Chong at the foot of Baiyun Mountain, the park covers an area of over 50,000 square meters. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the Xijiang River to the south, Yunlong Park includes attractions such as the Dragon Spring Waterfall and the Artificial Breeding Center for Francois' Langurs. Francois' Langurs are a Class I protected animal in China and belong to the category of endangered and rare primates. The park’s Rare Animal Breeding Center for Francois' Langurs is currently the largest breeding base of its kind in the world.

Established in 1991, the center has developed a viable set of breeding and rearing methods after years of exploration. More than 80 Francois' Langurs have been bred from this population, and over 40 have been sent to zoos in China and abroad. The park also hosts the country’s most diverse cultivation base for Bougainvillea flowers. In the park’s exhibition hall, you can find Guangxi’s largest butterfly specimen display, featuring over 10,000 species of butterflies; it also houses the world’s largest ostrich egg and the smallest hummingbird egg.

The most distinctive feature of Yunlong Park is the natural free-range of animals—pigeons and peacocks roam freely, while crocodiles swim in the ponds. A Snake Valley is currently under construction in the park and will house 10,000 live snakes.
