The Guangxi Wuzhou City (Guangdong–Guangxi Provincial Border) Self-drive Tourism Campsite is one of the first provincial border self-drive tourism reception centers in Guangxi. It is located at the scenic foot of Nanhui Volcano in Wuzhou City, Guangxi, where the mountains are lush, the waters are clear, the air is fresh, and the landscape is embraced by rolling hills and rivers, with vast stretches of grassland. As night falls, visitors can also gaze across the river at the beautiful night view of Wuzhou. The campsite enjoys convenient transportation, being situated right next to National Highway 321, only 2.5 kilometers (a 10-minute drive) from downtown Wuzhou and approximately a 3.5-hour drive from Guangzhou. It is the top choice for provincial border tourism, self-drive travel camping, and mid-journey rest stops.

The campsite is designed based on the concept of “Ecology & Sports,” covering an area of 480 acres, including 450 acres of grassland. It features 24 standard grass football fields, a 20,000 m² grass golf driving range, 4 indoor basketball courts, 4 beach volleyball courts, 2 beach soccer fields, 1 indoor badminton hall (with 9 courts), 1 indoor table tennis hall (with 10 tables and 6 pool tables), 2 sandy-surface tennis courts, a 150 m² swimming pool, a sauna and beauty center, one 150–200 m² meeting room each, as well as a range of other leisure, entertainment, fitness, and recreational facilities.

The campsite offers 180 standard rooms in athlete apartments and coach apartments built to star-rated hotel standards. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped.

The campsite’s restaurant can accommodate 300 diners at once. It hires renowned chefs from Wuzhou to prepare local specialties, including authentic Wuzhou Paper-Wrapped Chicken and genuine Wuzhou Turtle Jelly, among other regional delicacies. The shopping center offers a wide selection of products, featuring various Wuzhou specialties such as Wuzhou gemstone jewelry, Wuzhou turtle jelly, Bingquan soybean milk crystals, Dragon Boat cured meats, and Wuzhou Liubao tea. It provides one-stop shopping for authentic Wuzhou local products.

The campsite’s camping and barbecue area spans 42 acres. The campsite can help arrange orders for a variety of fresh barbecue foods. The facilities are comprehensive, with over 150 parking spaces for vehicles of all sizes, as well as a professional auto maintenance and repair center that offers top-notch services for visitors in need of car care or repairs.
