Wuzhou Loquat Manor

Wuzhou Loquat Manor is an agricultural tourism demonstration site in Guangxi. It is located at Che Tou, Wangpu Village, Wangpu Town, Wanxiu District. The distance from the city center to Wangpu Town along the Wuzhou–Hezhou Highway is 11 kilometers, and then another 1.5 kilometers in the direction of Xiayong leads to the manor. Bus No. 26 from the city center goes to Wangpu.

The manor spans 110 acres and mainly grows loquats, featuring 13 varieties and a total of 3,000 loquat trees. Additionally, there are about 3,000 other fruit trees, including honey peaches, sugar oranges, summer oranges, pomegranates, carambolas, bayberries, lychees, longans, wampees, pink bananas, and sand pears. During the fruit ripening seasons, the manor offers fruit-picking tours.

The peak tourist season is from March to May when the loquats are ripe. Batch after batch of local residents and tourists visit the manor to pick loquats and enjoy its specialty cuisine. Unfortunately, it’s now August, so the loquat-picking season has passed. However, many fruit trees in the manor are still bearing fruit, allowing visitors to experience the charm of rural life.

The manor has developed unique offerings such as loquat chicken, loquat duck, loquat flower soup, loquat flower wine, and loquat fruit wine, all highly praised by visitors. Free-range local chickens and ducks are raised in the manor’s orchards, along with wild boars. The vegetable garden grows various produce such as green beans, loofahs, pumpkins, and chili peppers, ensuring that visitors can enjoy authentic farm-fresh ecological food.
