The former site of the Chengtuan Meeting is located in Shuiling Village, Linjiang Village Committee, Chengtuan Town, Liuzhou County.

On February 14, 1948 (the fourth day of the first lunar month), the CCP Guilin-Liuzhou District Working Committee held the first training class for party members and cadres, codenamed “Kunlun Mountain,” at the home of Xiong Liusheng in Shuiling Village, Chengtuan Township. The 20-day session analyzed domestic and international situations, studied revolutionary theory, and produced the guiding document for the Guangxi revolution known as the “January Decision.” In February 1949, the CCP Guangxi Provincial Agricultural Committee Meeting was held at Xiong Liusheng’s home. The meeting conveyed the directives from the CCP South China Bureau, reviewed the experiences of armed struggles across Guangxi in 1948, and laid out the tasks for 1949. The “Kunlun Mountain” cadre training class and the Provincial Agricultural Committee Meeting are collectively referred to as the Chengtuan Meetings. In June 1998, it was designated as a patriotic education base by Liuzhou City.

Chengtuan Town: Located 8 kilometers west of Liuzhou County, Chengtuan Town is a revolutionary old base area with a proud heritage. It covers an administrative area of 133.6 square kilometers, with 3,575.7 hectares of arable land, including 2,588.9 hectares of paddy fields and 988 hectares of dry land. The town has a population of 55,700, and its total output value reached 500 million yuan in 2005.
