Located on Feifeng Ridge in Dengfeng Village, Nanxi Town, it is a renowned sacred site of the Buddhist “Lingnan Zen” tradition. “Nanyan Distant View” is one of the ancient Eight Scenic Spots of Puning. The ancient Nanyan Temple houses attractions such as the Bell and Drum Tower, Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, Four-Faced Buddha Pavilion, Feifeng Pavilion, Sweet Spring Pavilion, Guanyin Sprinkling Sweet Dew Pavilion, Vajra Goddess Hall, Ji Gong Hall, and Bogong Shrine. It features 201 jade Buddha statues, including those of Myanmar jade, Buddha, Bodhisattvas, Devas, and Arhats, as well as 20,008 Buddha relief sculptures on the Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, plus a large-scale Nine-Dragon Wall, jade lions, and jade elephants.
