The former site of the Eastern Expeditionary Army Command Headquarters during the Battle of Mianhu is located at Xingdao Academy in Fangwei Community, Mianhu Town, Jiexi County, Jieyang City. It dates back to 1925.

On April 19, 2019, the former site of the Eastern Expeditionary Army Command Headquarters during the Battle of Mianhu was designated as part of the ninth batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Mianhu Town: Mianhu Town is situated on the eastern bank of the middle reaches of the Rong River, and is an ancient town on the eastern Guangdong plain. Established during the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Song Dynasty, it boasts a history of over 1,000 years. The town covers a total area of 33 square kilometers, with an urban built-up area of 5.5 square kilometers. It governs 10 neighborhood committees and 14 village committees (encompassing 30 natural villages). The town has one secondary vocational school, five middle schools (one of which is under construction), and 19 primary schools (one of which is under construction).
