Nai Xuan Lei Yuan is an exquisitely crafted blend of a villa residence and the charm of a garden retreat. The rockeries in the garden are all built from Taihu stones. There are two ancient banyan trees with branches that connect to form a banyan tree gate, which is quite a spectacle.

Linyuan is located on the campus of the current Pinghe East School. The garden consists of rockeries, garden pavilions, a fish pond, an ancient well, and a two-story Western-style building. Two years ago, Linyuan underwent renovation and has retained much of its original appearance.
