The Tomb of Grand Marshal Song is located at the foot of Xiaobei Mountain in Gurao Town. Legend has it that this is a mass grave for soldiers who died in a bloody battle between Wen Tianxiang’s forces and the Yuan army. To honor their loyalty and valor, local villagers raised funds in the 1980s to build a park-style cemetery. The main gate of the cemetery features an imposing archway, and the grounds include elegant pavilions, shaded groves, spacious green lawns, and a serene environment.
