The ruins of Haikou Tianhou Ancient Temple are a Shantou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The ruins of Haikou Tianhou Ancient Temple are located on a hillside in the northern part of Damiantian Village, Mianbei Subdistrict, Chaoyang District. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, they are classified as ancient ruins.

On October 10, 2014, the ruins of Haikou Tianhou Ancient Temple were designated as a Shantou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Mianbei Subdistrict: Mianbei Subdistrict is situated in the northern suburbs of Chaoyang’s urban area, covering a jurisdictional area of 32.215 square kilometers. It administers nine neighborhood committees, with a population of 54,550. It combines urban functionality with rural advantages and is located just 8 kilometers from Shantou City. The subdistrict enjoys well-developed transportation, with convenient land and water transport. National Highway 324 runs north–south through the area, while the moat provides direct access to Shantou Port. Chaojie Road leads north to Jieyang City and south to the Shenshan Expressway and Haimen Port.
