The Xiaobei Mountain Jade Sound Stele is a Shantou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
The Xiaobei Mountain Jade Sound Stele is located on Xiaobei Mountain in Ximei Village, Guisu Town, Chaoyang District. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is categorized as a grotto temple and stone carving.
On October 10, 2014, the Xiaobei Mountain Jade Sound Stele was designated as a Shantou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
Ximei Village: Ximei Village is situated at the foot of Xiaobei Mountain in Guisu Town. It borders Yao Cuo to the west and Shanqian Village to the south, covering an area of 4.71 square kilometers. The village includes 1,781.1 mu of arable land and 2,989.4 mu of forested land. By the end of 2013, the total population was 8,599, across 1,564 households, with per capita arable land of 0.2 mu. In 2013, the village’s total industrial and agricultural output value reached 137.06 million yuan, including 13.64 million yuan from agriculture and 123.42 million yuan from industry.
