Sheng'an Herbal Garden

Situated in Xinlou Village, Lianhua Town, Chenghai District, Shantou City, Chenghai Sheng'an Herbal Garden is backed by Guanyin Mountain at the western foot of Lotus Mountain and faces the lush green plains of the Han River, offering beautiful scenery and an exceptionally favorable geographic setting. The garden is divided into two main sections: Sheng'an Tower and an ecological tourism area.

In addition to the fruit orchard ecological area, Sheng'an Herbal Garden also includes hiking zones, fishing areas, barbecue zones, a beacon tower, the Lotus Fairy Scenic Area, an exhibition area for traditional Chaoshan farming tools, Mongolian yurts, and a horse riding area. Visitors can freely take part in a variety of recreational activities such as fishing, testing, horseback riding, and camel riding. They can also try their hand at making paper by traditional methods, reliving the process behind one of ancient China’s Four Great Inventions—the creation of paper.
