The Former Residence of Lin Guoying is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Former Residence of Lin Guoying is located in Quexiang Village, Longdu Town, Chenghai City. It was built during the Qing Dynasty. The structure features a flush-gable roof and covers an area of 100 square meters.

Lin Guoying (1878–1951) was a native of Quexiang Village, Longdu, Chenghai County. In his early years, he studied in Japan, where he met Sun Yat-sen and joined the Tongmenghui. In 1907, dispatched by Sun Yat-sen, he went to Shantou to liaise with Xu Xueqiu and others, planning the Huanggang Uprising of 1907 (Dingwei Year), and served as the rear commander. During the Anti-Japanese War, he actively engaged in resistance and relief efforts, providing free medical care and medicine to the public, and sold his rice granary in Annam (Vietnam) to aid refugees. His inscribed stele, "Record of the Huanggang Uprising in Chaozhou in the Dingwei Year," remains standing in Huanggang Town, Raoping County.

Quexiang Village: Commonly known as Kenuiao Lane, Quexiang Village is located in the southwest of Longdu Town, about 1 kilometer from Dianshi. The village features block-style residential distribution, covering an area of 2.4 square kilometers. It currently has 1,366 households, a population of 5,300, and 1,395 mu of arable land. The soil is sandy, and the main crops include rice, peanuts, sugarcane, guava, and lychee. In 2009, the village’s total industrial output value was 45.9 million yuan, agricultural output value was 8.75 million yuan, and per capita income was 3,465 yuan.
