Tomb of Chen Songxuan

The Tomb of Chen Songxuan is a cultural relic protection unit of Shantou City.

The Tomb of Chen Songxuan is located on Kaizhi North Road, Beiwang Village, Lianxia Town, Chenghai District. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty and is classified as an ancient tomb.

On March 22, 2010, the Tomb of Chen Songxuan was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Shantou City.

Beiwang Village: Bei Wan

In the mid-Ming Dynasty (around 1500), families with the surnames Wu, Chen, and Guo settled here, followed by the gradual migration of families with the surnames Zhou, Li, and others. Originally part of the same village as Nanwan and Dongwan, it was called Sanwan Village. In the 25th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1686), Sanwan Village was renamed Wanxing Village. In 1914, Wanxing Village was divided into three separate villages: Nanwan, Beiwang, and Dongwan. In 1946, it belonged to Wandu Township. In 1950, it became an independent village.
