Covering an area of 245 acres, Shiwan Park is adjacent to the famous tourist attraction Nanshao Ancient Kiln and is a ceramic sculpture-themed park. Major attractions in the park include: the world’s largest ceramic figure sculpture, “Pottery Woman,” which tells the story of Shiwan’s origins; the grand and spectacular “Light of China” ceramic pillar group, chronicling the glory of Chinese civilization over 5,000 years; the unique wood-fired works by master ceramic artists from China and abroad, exuding the infinite charm of ceramic art; and the world’s largest netted peacock eco-viewing garden, where more than a thousand colorful peacocks are a real eye-opener...

Shiwan Park is basically just a lake park, similar to most other parks, but there’s a pretty impressive toilet waterfall nearby that’s great for photos. There’s also a Pottery Ancestors Temple that you can enter for free. The ceramic decorations on the roof are worth checking out if you’re interested in religion or ceramic art—if not, you can skip this part.
