The former site of Zhili Painting Studio is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The former site of Zhili Painting Studio is located at No. 7 Donghuali, Fuxian Road, Fuxian Community Committee, Zumiao Subdistrict Office, Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It is a residential building from the Qing Dynasty. The structure faces slightly southwest, with only the entrance gate preserved in its original state, spanning 6.78 meters in width. It features a flush gable roof with a hip-and-gable design. The entrance gate is constructed with polished blue bricks and a granite base. The wide granite door frame is paired with a solid wood main door, sliding bolt, and carved decorative side doors. The stone wall base, adorned with intricate antique-pattern carvings, is exquisitely crafted. The wall top features large, finely carved and highly decorative brick reliefs. The eaves retain wooden carvings on the decorative eave boards. Zhili Painting Studio was originally part of the Yangwu Street estate, the predecessor of Donghuali, owned by the Wu family. In the early 1940s, Huang Shaoqiang, a figure painter of the Lingnan School, established the Zhili Painting Studio here and trained a group of talents in the folk painting genre. This building serves as a physical relic for the study of Qing Dynasty residences and notable figures in Foshan. In June 2001, it was jointly announced as part of the Donghuali Ancient Buildings National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit along with other historic structures in Donghuali.
