The Zhongshan Comic Art Museum officially opened on January 16, 2013. It is situated within Yixian Lake Park in Shiqi District, with a total building area of 4,375 square meters. It features an exhibition hall on the brief history of Chinese comics, a gallery showcasing Zhongshan-born comic artists, a space for Chen Yifan’s works, an exhibition hall for Fang Cheng, a Jiang Yousheng exhibition hall, a Fang Tang exhibition hall, a temporary exhibition space, and an interactive playground. The museum boasts a rich and high-quality collection, ranking among the top in its category.

In addition to traditional display methods, the Zhongshan Comic Art Museum also employs advanced technologies such as multimedia to enhance the presentation of comic art. Through various forms including 360-degree holographic projection, multimedia projection-based interactive experiences, and automated mobile phone audio guide systems, the art of comics is made more vivid and engaging. These innovations enrich the exhibition formats and enhance the visual appeal of the displayed content.
