Zhongshan China Radio Museum is the first specialized museum in China themed around radios. It is affiliated with the Zhongshan Museum and serves as one of its branch venues.

Located at No. 197, Sun Wen Middle Road, Shiqi District, Zhongshan City, Zhongshan China Radio Museum is the first radio-themed museum in China. The museum houses nearly 2,000 radios, with over 230 currently on display. These include the first generation of radios produced locally in China in the early 1920s up to products from the 1980s. The collection is systematic and comprehensive, boasting high research value.

The exhibition follows the spatial development of history as its curatorial thread, using physical objects, photographs, dioramas, and multimedia displays to showcase the development history of China’s radio industry. It also reflects, from one perspective, the historical changes in China’s society, politics, economy, and the growth of emerging cultural communication industries against the backdrop of the radio sector. The museum is divided into two exhibition areas on the upper and lower floors, with 1949 as the temporal dividing line. The ground floor features the "Radios in Pre-Liberation China" exhibition area, while the second floor hosts the "Radios in Post-Liberation China" exhibition area. The buffer zone upon entering the ground floor serves as the introductory hall. Each main exhibition area unfolds against a historical timeline, displaying representative radios and providing context about the radio industry during that period. Since its opening, Zhongshan China Radio Museum has welcomed over 60,000 domestic and international visitors annually, becoming a cultural tourism highlight in Zhongshan.

Most of the collections at Zhongshan China Radio Museum were donated free of charge by Mr. Qiu Jianqiu, a resident of Zhongshan. Since its opening, the museum has also received support from people across various sectors who have donated radios for its collection. To date, the museum has amassed nearly 2,000 radios from different periods, including representative models such as the Panda 1501, Peony 911, and Red Lantern 711-2.
