Stone Universe City is situated within the picturesque Wuguishan Ecological Reserve in Zhongshan City and is a fantastical city brimming with a sci-fi vibe. Established and carefully curated over ten years by Mr. Feng Wenqin, Vice President of the China Association of Collectors of Stones and renowned as the foremost expert in Chinese stone culture, it serves as a comprehensive cultural tourism destination that combines science education, tourism, scientific research, and cultural promotion. It is an affiliated unit of the China Association of Collectors of Stones, a demonstration base for science education in Zhongshan City, and a practice base for young reporters under the Zhongshan Newspaper Group.

Covering an area of 10 acres, Stone Universe City consists of four major exhibition halls with over 20 display zones. The city itself is like a living textbook. Here, you can explore mysterious UFOs and alien flying saucers through prehistoric UFO fossils; investigate the molecular structures of extraterrestrial celestial bodies in the vast universe through a vast collection of various meteorites; learn about humanity’s evolutionary journey from apes to Homo sapiens through unearthed stone tools from the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods; savor the culinary culture of China through a lifelike “Manchu-Han Imperial Feast” crafted entirely from natural stones; experience a journey through hundreds of millions of years to uncover the footprints and extinction process of dinosaurs; witness the awe-inspiring and boundless wonders crafted by nature and view rare and precious treasures. A visit here will allow you to uncover the mysteries of the universe, personally experience the magical charm of nature, and embark on a journey through time and exploration.

The collections within Stone Universe City are breathtaking. All exhibits have been authenticated on-site as rare and precious varieties, absolute masterpieces in the mineral world, with some being one-of-a-kind. There are glowing stones (natural night pearls), the priceless Emperor Seven-Star Gem Flower valued at over ten billion yuan, and three Guinness World Records: the Liangshi Guanling Ichthyosaur Fossil, the Thousand Fish Fossil, and the 20.14 square meter Sea Lily Fossil — the latter being three times larger than the specimen housed in the Guangdong Provincial Museum. Also on display is a complete 43-meter-long fossilized ginkgo tree, transformed from wood to stone over hundreds of millions of years. The Manchu-Han Imperial Feast made entirely of stone is mouthwateringly realistic, while an exquisite array of mineral crystals and astonishing stone blooms leave visitors in awe. Mysterious celestial visitors spark curiosity, and insightful exhibits showcasing Paleolithic and Neolithic cultures, Hongshan Culture, and Liangzhu Culture offer a journey through ancient history. Ticket Information:

Adult ticket: 60 RMB. Children under 1.2 meters in height are admitted free of charge. Seniors aged 65 and above can enter for free upon presenting their ID card or senior citizen card. Children between 1.2 – 1.5 meters tall and students with valid student IDs can purchase discounted tickets for 30 RMB.
