Located in Da Huan Village, Torch Development Zone — an eastern town of Zhongshan City — Huatuo Mountain Park sits at the intersection of Kang Le Avenue and Huan Mao First Road. Covering an area of 38.05 hectares and standing 116.65 meters above sea level, the park was originally named “Hua Dong Park.” Its overall planning is based on the historical and cultural legacy of Hua Tuo, the “Father of Surgery” and “Miraculous Doctor,” and rooted in the culture of the health industry. It integrates five core functions: natural ecology, green environmentalism, traditional Chinese medical therapy, fitness activities, and wellness leisure. The park’s layout is structured around “one core,” “two axes,” and “six zones.” The “one core” refers to the mountaintop observation tower; the “two axes” are the Wellness Culture Axis and the Health Industry Culture Axis; the “six zones” include the Wellness Culture Zone, the Health Industry Culture Zone, the Leisure Fitness Experience Zone, the Leisure Resort Zone, the Ecological Forest Zone, and the Leisure Scenic Zone.
