Ruins of Wang Yunwu’s Former Residence

The ruins of Wang Yunwu’s former residence is a cultural tourism attraction.

The ruins of Wang Yunwu’s former residence are located in Wangwu Village, Pansha. Originally built during the Qing Dynasty, Wang Yunwu was born here in 1888. The original residence was a brick-and-wood structure facing south with an area of about 120 square meters, with a well and kitchen on the left side. The well’s railing was built with granite slabs and remains in its original state. In the early 1970s, the residence had been converted into a two-story building. The remaining granite threshold and well of the old house are part of the heritage site of a notable person’s former residence.

In November 2004, it was designated as an immovable cultural relics site by the municipal government.
