Zhenyi Hall

Zhenyi Hall, also known as the Ancestral Temple of the Yang Family’s Court Councillor, is located in Cuiheng Village. Built during the Qing Dynasty, the hall features a three-bay, three-courtyard layout with a flush-gable roof made of brick and timber. Its foundation is built from granite blocks, and the walls are constructed with polished blue bricks. The raised-beam structure, brick carvings, lime carvings, and wooden couplets at the entrance are all well-preserved. Covering a construction area of approximately 600 square meters, it is a representative residential building of the wealthy during the Qing Dynasty.

In November 2008, it was designated as a cultural heritage site of Zhongshan City by the municipal government.

Cuiheng Village: Cuiheng Village is an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Nanlang Town, Zhongshan City. It is located in the southeastern part of Zhongshan City and also in the southeastern region of Nanlang Town. To the east, it faces the Lingdingyang area of the Pearl River Estuary, across the sea from Qi’ao Island in Zhuhai City; to the south, it borders Jinding Town in Zhuhai City; to the west, it lies against Wuguishan Mountain; and to the northeast, it neighbors Yakou Village. The Beijing–Zhuhai Expressway runs east of the village. The Zhonggong Highway runs through the village longitudinally. Cui Shan Road connects the Zhonggong Highway to the west and Chenggui Highway to the east, passing by the edge of the Yixian Reservoir. It is a key hub for both land and water transportation in the southeastern part of Zhongshan City.
