The Mingcai Fruit World Tourist & Leisure Agriculture Resort in Zhongshan City was formerly known as the Mingcai Fruit Park in Minzhong Town, Zhongshan. It was planned and constructed by Zhongshan Mingcai Fruit Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 10 million yuan in its first phase. The resort is located within Lishengwei, Xinjian Village, Minzhong Town, Zhongshan City, covering an area of nearly 400 acres. Official construction began in 2012, and it officially opened in September 2015. With a focus on natural ecology and green health, the resort integrates modern agriculture and leisure tourism to create an eco-agricultural tourism destination that combines fruit picking, agricultural planting, and leisure vacation.

Mingcai Fruit World boasts beautiful natural scenery and grows over ten high-quality fruit varieties. In spring and winter, you can find Murcott oranges, Taiwanese honey dates, and Emperor mandarins; in summer, there are Kyoho grapes, lychees, longans, and papayas; in autumn, you’ll enjoy red-fleshed pitaya, guavas, and passion fruits. Fresh fruits are available for picking all year round, all grown in a green and healthy manner, perfectly aligning with the modern concept of eco-friendly travel.

The resort has excavated a 1.5-kilometer-long waterway, allowing visitors to experience the unique joy of boating and fruit picking. While admiring the natural scenery along both banks of Mingcai Fruit World, you can also taste authentic fresh fruits, making you feel as if you’re in a fruit-themed Venice paradise.

Aside from fruit picking and fruit feasts, Mingcai Fruit World also offers camping and team-building activities, barbecues, and DIY cookouts. Xinjian Village: Located in the eastern part of Minzhong Town, Xinjian Village has a total population of 4,222 and 960 households, divided into 15 villager groups. At the end of 2001, in accordance with higher-level requirements, Xinjian Village was formed through the adjustment and merger of the former Xinhua Natural Village, Xinmin Natural Village, and the Xindiao Farming Village of Sanjiao. The village consists of 8 natural “weirs” (enclosed polder areas), with a total dike length of about 30 kilometers. The total area of the village is 6,800 acres, including 6,388 acres of arable land, making it a purely agricultural village primarily focused on growing off-season vegetables and flowers, as well as breeding shrimp and the four major freshwater fish species.
