Ma Gong Memorial Hall is a cultural heritage site protected at the Guangdong provincial level.

Ma Gong Memorial Hall is located on Yingbiao Road, Shayong Community, South District, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. It was initially built in 1923 and completed in 1933 as a memorial to Ma Zaoming, the father of Ma Yingbiao, the founder of the Sincere & Co. department store. The memorial hall faces south and covers a building area of 1,278 square meters, with a total area of approximately 7,620 square meters. The main entrance features a four-pillar, three-bay, three-story facade. At the center of the entrance stands the "Zaiming Pavilion", an octagonal, double-eaved pavilion with a pyramidal roof. Behind the pavilion lies the two-story "Yiyuan Hall", designed in the style of an Italian Roman dome. To its right is the three-story "Nanyuan Hall", modeled after a British clock tower, and to the left is the three-story "Women and Children's Building" in a Spanish architectural style. All structures combine brick, wood, and concrete, representing typical and iconic examples of modern overseas Chinese architecture in Zhongshan. It was designated as a Guangdong Provincial Cultural Heritage Site in 2008.

Ma Yingbiao (1861–1944), childhood name Ma Wei, was from Shayong Township, Xiangshan County (now South District, Zhongshan), Guangdong Province. He was the founder of the Sincere & Co. in Hong Kong. Coming from a poor family, he went to Australia in 1880, first working in gold mines, then growing vegetables, and later running a small vegetable shop in Sydney. In 1890, he opened the Yongsheng and Yongtaisheng fruit shops. In 1892, he co-founded Yongsheng Company in Sydney with friends, specializing in local produce and Chinese general goods, which became highly successful. When he returned to China for a family visit, he married the daughter of Reverend Huo Jingshan, actively promoted Christianity, and partnered with fellow believers to establish “Huaxin Zhuang” in Hong Kong to handle imports and exports...
