Ridong Ancestral Hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

Ridong Ancestral Hall is located in Guhe Village, Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan City. It was built in the seventh year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1881). The hall faces northwest and is situated to the southeast, featuring a three-bay, three-courtyard layout with an area of approximately 480 square meters. The structure has a flush gable roof and a hybrid wooden frame combining through-tenon and raised-beam construction. The beams are intricately carved with dougong brackets, melon-shaped pillars, and other elements, all showcasing a rich local style. The central bay features a carved wooden flower stand with the motif “A Mouse Biting a Buddha’s Seed Pod,” while the side bays include carvings such as “Musk Grapes” and “Melons in Endless Rows,” all set on stone-carved railing panels. The rear section is a two-story pavilion-style building. The main beam of the front bay hangs a wooden Qing Dynasty imperial plaque inscribed with the words “Benevolent and Charitable.” This ancestral hall is one of the well-preserved traditional clan halls in Zhongshan.

Guhe Village: Guhe Village in Sanxiang Town, Zhongshan City, is a historic cultural village with nearly 800 years of history. Legend has it that in ancient times, many birds nested in the forests around the village, with white cranes being the most numerous, hence the name “Guhe” (Ancient Crane).

Today's Guhe Village is a natural village where tradition and modernity coexist. Covering an area of 5.6 square kilometers, it has a permanent resident population of 1,172 and a non-native population of over 8,000, along with more than 3,000 overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong and Macao, making it one of Zhongshan's hometowns of overseas Chinese. The village exudes an inclusive, harmonious, and enterprising humanistic atmosphere.
