Former Residence of Zheng Zaoru

The former residence of Zheng Zaoru, also known as "Sanhetang," is located at No. 2 Malongzhou Lane, Shiqi District, Zhongshan City. It was originally built during the Qing Dynasty. Facing east with its back to the west, the building covers an area of approximately 530 square meters. Featuring a flush gable roof, a mixed brick-and-timber structure, and a three-courtyard, three-room layout, it includes a rear section and a garden. The exterior walls are constructed from blue bricks, resting on a granite base, with wooden carvings of flowers and birds on the eaves boards. The interior floors are paved with antique-style tiles, and there were once corridors on both sides of the courtyard, which have now been converted into rental units. The building still preserves carved horizontal plaques, some wooden screen panels, and teak doors. Several families currently live in the residence.

The building reflects the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty, boasts a long history, and holds considerable historical value.
