Zhuhai Cuihu Golf Club [Lakewood Club] is located on Da Nanshan Mountain in Jinding Town, Zhuhai, Guangdong. Nestled in a tranquil and serene setting, the atmosphere alone offers a relaxing start for those coming here to play golf. Moreover, it’s just a 20-minute drive from downtown, making it very convenient. The club boasts two international-level 72-par, 18-hole championship golf courses: the Mountain Course and the Lake Course. The Mountain Course spans 6,912 yards, while the Lake Course is 6,730 yards long. Both were designed by the renowned American golf course architect J. Michael Poellot. With over twenty years of experience in golf course design and construction, he made full use of the natural and original terrain to sculpt two exceptional courses across the vast 380-acre expanse of Cuihu. Poellot enjoys an outstanding reputation in golf course design, known worldwide for his creative and unique design concepts, as well as his meticulous artistic effects.

The guiding principle behind Poellot’s design of the Cuihu Golf Course was to ensure that both courses cater to players of varying skill levels. They are not only capable of hosting international-level tournaments but also provide comfortable and satisfying playing grounds for casual players or beginners. The Mountain Course, with its standard 72-par layout, is characterized by the strategic placement of fairways and water hazards. The 13th hole of the Mountain Course is a challenging par 5, offering high risk and equally high reward. A conservative tee shot aims toward the left side of the fairway to avoid the water on the right, while a more aggressive player may carry the bunker and the lake, landing on the narrow fairway to the right of the left-side bunker, before approaching the green with an approximately 210-yard shot.
