Yeli Island

Yeli Island in Zhuhai is situated between Xianglu Bay and Xiangzhou Bay on the city's eastern side and is connected to the downtown area by Haiyan Bridge. The famous Lovers' Road runs along three sides of the island—south, east, and west—giving it a strategic location and easy access. The island spans 420,000 square meters and features four peaks, with the highest point being under 70 meters above sea level. Its size, terrain, and elevation make it well-suited to be developed into a scenic tourist destination.

Yeli Island is the closest island to downtown Zhuhai, covering an area of 0.42 square kilometers. Construction has officially begun on the "Music Island" project, where the Central Conservatory of Music will present to the people of Zhuhai an integrated space comprising a music academy, music park, and concert hall on Yeli Island.

In the planning of the "Music Island," openness and participation are key priorities. In addition to teaching areas and a concert hall, the island will also feature an open-air music plaza, musical fountains, a music corridor, and music-themed bars. To balance the need for a relatively enclosed and structured academic environment with the goal of providing an open and accessible tourist experience, a dedicated visitor route will be established within the teaching zone, allowing tourists to observe certain internal activities.
