Wuzhou Island Tourism Ecological Park is located in the middle reaches of the Xiang River, in the Xinhe Town area of Changning City. It lies 10 kilometers east of downtown Changning City, 50 kilometers north of Hengyang City, and faces Hozhou in Qidong County across the river. The Changning section of the Hengzao Expressway runs through the park, offering very convenient transportation.

Wuzhou Island covers an area of 206 mu with flat terrain. The island is shaped like a willow leaf, overlooking a wide section of the river. The Xiang River Bridge soars overhead, presenting a magnificent sight. The island is covered with lush trees and dotted with ponds like pearls, boasting beautiful scenery. It can be regarded as a unique island in the Xiang River system, rich in natural resources and blessed with superior geographical conditions.

Making full use of its geographical location and natural resources, Wuzhou Island focuses on riverside swimming areas and artificial beaches, integrating water recreation, hotel dining, and leisure vacation to become a brand of tourism in Changning City and a pearl of the Xiang River system.

The ecological park’s hotel is built to a four-star standard, currently featuring 31 standard rooms, a public restaurant that can accommodate 150 diners at once, 10 private dining rooms, one VIP room, 10 standalone riverside villas, one large connected villa complex, as well as a grand banquet hall, business center, and garden villas.

When you step into the natural and rustic Wuzhou Island Ecological Park, you can pick fruits in the orchard, pull vegetables from the garden, and enjoy the freshest and most delicious produce, giving you a unique feeling of returning to nature.

The park began operations in April 2014.
