Jianghe Township: “Jianghe Township and Xinhe Town” have been merged to form the newly established “Xinhe Town.”

Jianghe Township was formed in 1995 through the merger of the former Shuangping and Jianghe townships. It is located 30 kilometers northwest of Changning City. To the north, it faces Qiandong Liangshi Town across the Xiang River, and to the west, it faces Hengnan Jinweizhou Town across the same river. The Xiang River and Yi River converge here, and the Jinweizhou Hydropower Station spans the Xiang River within the township.
