Nanzhou Town: Town Overview
Nanzhou Town is located by the shores of Dongting Lake and is a brilliant pearl in northern Hunan, where the county government is situated. Provincial highways S204 and S202 pass through the town, connecting it to Yiyang, Changde, and Yueyang, making transportation extremely convenient. It covers a total area of 47.9 square kilometers, including an urban area of 18 square kilometers, arable land of 26,780 mu, and a total population of 100,000. The town administers 15 administrative villages, 8 urban communities, and 1 fishery farm.
