Wuhan Haichang Polar Ocean World is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Haichang Polar Ocean World is situated in the Jinyintan Economic Development Zone, Dongxihu District, Wuhan, east of Huangtan Lake, south of Jinyintan Avenue, west of Hongtu Avenue, and north of the Third Ring Road, adjacent to the central urban area of Wuhan. The surrounding road network is extensive, offering highly convenient and accessible transportation. The polar ocean park and themed commercial area cover approximately 280,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 270,000 square meters. It is planned as the largest tourism and real estate project in Central China, themed around a polar ocean world and featuring comprehensive supporting facilities such as leisure, dining, entertainment, vacation, hotels, as well as integrating science education, amusement, shopping, and leisure. It is one of the key development projects of Wuhan City and Dongxihu District.

Haichang Wuhan Polar Ocean World is the fifth large-scale theme park encompassing polar and ocean concepts invested and built by Haichang Group as part of its strategy to expand into Central China, following the Dalian Laohutan Polar Ocean Park, Qingdao Polar Ocean World, Tianjin Polar Ocean World, and Chengdu Polar Ocean World. The venue construction alone cost 700 million yuan. Its opening signifies the birth of a new tourism format in Wuhan and heralds the arrival of a new era of theme parks in the city.

Wuhan Polar Ocean World is currently the only multi-story, multi-hall indoor polar ocean theme park in China. The architecture resembles a giant beluga whale leaping into the city of Wuhan, filling the gap for large-scale theme parks in Wuhan and even Central China. Through the display, performances, and interactions with rare polar and marine animals and fish (such as emperor penguins, polar bears, false killer whales, beluga whales, walruses, and dolphins), it opens a window for the people of Wuhan and Central China to understand polar and marine cultures, and provides a gateway to experience the landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic and the ocean, embarking on a dreamlike journey into polar marine culture. The "King of the Arctic" polar bear and the "Elf of the Antarctic" emperor penguin, animal representatives from the Earth's two poles, meet in Wuhan, making the "Polar Ocean Dream" of Wuhan residents come true.
