Du Gonghu Wetland Park

Du Gonghu Wetland Park is a national wetland park.

Du Gonghu Wetland Park is located in Baiquan Farm, Dongxihu District, and is part of the planned Baiquan Tourist Area. It includes two lakes, Xia Mojiao Lake and Du Gonghu Lake, with a wetland area of approximately 3.6 square kilometers. The park stretches about 2.8 kilometers from north to south and 2.65 kilometers from east to west, making it currently the only provincial-level wetland park in Wuhan.

According to the plan, Du Gonghu Wetland Park will integrate ecological conservation, sightseeing, science education, business leisure, cultural entertainment, and rainwater regulation. Visitors can explore the park through five zones: the North Sightseeing Area, South Sightseeing Area, Folk Culture Area, Wetland Science Exhibition Area, and Ecological Conservation and Cultivation Area. They can enjoy views of the lakes, shallow waters, marshes, reed beds, fish ponds, paddy fields, woodlands, orchards, farmsteads, as well as a large number of nationally protected wild waterfowl.
