Xinzhou District Museum

The Xinzhou District Museum in Wuhan is located north of Xinzhou Museum Avenue, at the intersection of Chengdong Cross Road 0. The museum covers a total construction area of 2,800 square meters, with four exhibition halls spanning 1,400 square meters, and houses nearly ten thousand cultural relics.

The two exhibition halls on the second floor of the Xinzhou District Museum in Wuhan are designed and arranged around five themes: “Dawn of Zhucheng,” “Commercial Style and Chu Charm,” “Old Zhou and New Xinzhou,” and “Land of Fish and Rice” (including ancient calligraphy and paintings by Wei Wenbo); the two exhibition halls on the first floor are respectively themed “Science Education” and “Folk Customs of Xinzhou,” and are prepared for opening to the public in the near future.

Cultural Relics Collection

Exhibition arrangements such as the “Xinzhou Cultural Relics Fine Exhibition,” “Wei Wenbo Ancient Calligraphy and Paintings Exhibition,” and “Restoration Exhibition of the Scenery of Wenjin Academy” are currently under preparation and will soon be operational.

In December 2020, it was included in the list of the “Fourth Batch of National Third-Class Museums.”
