Former Site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in Hankou

The Former Site of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in Hankou is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism attraction.

Located at No. 16 Youyi Street, Hankou. The site covers an area of 1,500 square meters and consists of two Western-style buildings facing south, with brick-concrete structures. The right building has three floors, and the left has two, covering 340 and 450 square meters respectively. The right building was originally the private residence of Chen Hanqing, a subordinate of warlord Wu Peifu. In September 1926, after the Northern Expeditionary Army captured Hankou, it was confiscated by the Nationalist Government; the left building was originally privately owned by Ye Kaitai, a pharmaceutical tycoon in Hankou.
