The Former Site of the KMT-CPC Hankou Conference is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province and a classic red tourism attraction.

Former Site of the KMT-CPC Hankou Conference

Located at No. 39 Huiji Road, Jiang’an District, Wuhan City, it was built in 1922 and originally served as the residence of Yang Sen, with Bai Chongxi once living there. In 1946, to prevent civil war in the Central Plains region, the KMT and CPC held the “Hankou Conference” here, attended by representatives from the Communist Party, the Kuomintang, and the United States, and the “Hankou Agreement” was reached. The site covers a construction area of approximately 1,260 square meters. It has a brick-and-stone structure, with three floors above ground and one underground. The building is symmetrically laid out, with a high base, a porch at the entrance, fine sand-textured walls, and dark red doors and windows. The site holds significant historical value and commemorative importance.
