Moonrise Platform

The Moonrise Platform is located in the southern section of the park, 266 meters east of the Yellow Crane Tower and about 10 meters southwest of the White Cloud Pavilion. It is an ancient architectural landmark closely associated with the Yellow Crane Tower during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The Moonrise Platform built in January 1992 in the southern section is a slightly enlarged replica based on an actual structure adjacent to the First Revolution Park, featuring a square-framed design. It has white marble square stone pillars, each approximately 4 meters high, with 3 to 4 meters between them, and includes four steps. The platform covers an area of 54 square meters. The inscription “Moonrise Platform” was written by Huang Qi, then Vice Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.

Huanghelou Street: Huanghelou Street is located in the bustling downtown area at the western end of Wuchang District. It borders Snake Hill to the north, Ziyang Road to the south, First Revolution Square to the east, and the Yangtze River to the west, and is adjacent to Zhonghua Road Street, Ziyang Road Street, and First Revolution Road Street. Covering an area of 1.64 square kilometers, it currently has 18,288 households with a population of 52,000, resulting in a population density of 32,500 people per square kilometer. The street office is located at No. 8 Houchang Street. The street is named after the Yellow Crane Tower, one of the “Three Famous Towers of Jiangnan,” which stands within its jurisdiction.
