Introduction:

Luojia Mountain—Wuhan University

Luojia Mountain, originally named Luojia Mountain or also called Luojia Mountain, got its current name from Mr. Wen Yiduo, the first Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the National Wuhan University. Luojia Mountain is located in the eastern suburbs of Wuchang, Hubei Province. Majestically sprawling, its continuous ridges complement the waters of East Lake, forming a scenic ensemble.

Wuhan University, one of "China’s most beautiful universities," is situated on the western side of Luojia Mountain. Its architecture is built along the mountain’s contours and is richly designed. In the nearby lake, there are wave-washed rocks scattered in rows. The area also features revolutionary commemorative structures such as the June 1st Memorial Pavilion and the June 1st Martyrs’ Tomb, as well as sports facilities including a sailing club and swimming pool. Wuhan University’s cherry blossom path lies beneath the former College of Science and the old library. The cherry trees lining the path have sturdy trunks and are neatly arranged. Every year from March to early April, the branches are covered in blossoms. The cherry blossom season lasts only about a week, and when the petals fall, they create a light "carpet" over the ground. During the blooming period, visitors flock to admire the flowers.

Wuhan University charges an entrance fee of 10 RMB for external visitors during the cherry blossom season, but is free to enter at other times.
