Wuhan National Culture Village is located by the beautiful Tangxun Lake in Jiangxia District (five kilometers from South-Central University for Nationalities). Covering an area of over 1,000 acres, it is the first theme park in Hubei Province jointly established by Chinese and Japanese investors. Tangxun Lake Totem Culture Resort (abbreviated as Tangsun Lake Resort) is situated by the picturesque Tangsun Lake. It was invested and built by Hubei Huatai Real Estate Industry Co., Ltd., and is the first resort in China themed around totem culture.

The resort covers a total area of 300,000 square meters. Its main attractions include the White Pagoda (Dai ethnic group), Dragon King Temple, Hundred Dragons Corridor, Totem Square, Guanyin Island, Waterfront Bar, Peace Pigeon Square, Lover’s Tree, and Zigzag Bridge. It is designed based on the philosophy of “harmony between man and nature, returning to simplicity, and reconnecting with nature.” Led by Professor Deng from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, twelve professors from four art academies across the country spent three years researching and excavating the totem culture of China’s 56 ethnic groups and the dragon culture art corridor. The 68 uniquely designed totems, all made from earthenware, form the only and first complete large-scale totem pottery sculpture group representing all 56 ethnic groups in China. It has been praised as a unique masterpiece of China by Professors Tsuchikawa and Matsuzawa from the Art Department of the University of Tokyo. The Dragon Culture Art Corridor features nearly 2,000 dragons of different historical styles, sculpted and painted by archaeologists, artists, and folk artisans based on unearthed dragon artifacts from various dynasties from the Neolithic Age, Xia, Shang, to the Qing Dynasty. It showcases the evolution history of the dragon and is a classic work of dragon culture, the first of its kind in China. The resort also restored the Dragon King Temple, which dates back to the Ming Dynasty, according to historical records. Ticket prices: Adults 20 RMB/person, Students 10 RMB/person

1. Children under 1.3 meters enter for free. Travel transportation: 1. Take suburban tourist bus line 4 from Wuhan Passenger Transport Port Long-Distance Bus Station. The bus terminates at Jiangxia Longquan Mountain Scenic Area, passing by Wuhan National Culture Village and Tangsun Lake Resort. The first departure is at 9:00 AM daily, with a one-way fare of 10 RMB/person (only 6 RMB/person to reach Wuhan National Culture Village and Tangsun Lake Resort). 2. Take bus 901 or minibus 168 heading toward Zhifang from the left side of Wuchang Railway Station to reach Wuhan National Culture Village and Tangsun Lake Resort.
